Abstract

The paper is devoted to the establishment and formation of political relations between Azerbaijan and the United States in the 90 years of the 20th century. The paper investigates the state and obvious success of the Azerbaijani state in early 90s of 20th century as a direct result of the implementation of the strategy of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. The author identifies factors contributing to the Azerbaijani-US relations and touches upon the issues of “globalization” and “westernization”, the prospects of global development of the Azerbaijani diplomacy. In the article is investigated the enrichment and importance of the US-Azerbaijani relations at different levels
