Abstract

In article the analysis of sustainability of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the method of the main component is carried out. The method of the main component is one of the most commonly used factor analysis methods. Application of this method has allowed to decrease of number of indicators and to reveal the major factors influencing economic growth and socio-economic development of the country for period 2000-2013. The current situation of socio-economic development in Azerbaijan is analysed and recommendations for improvements put forward in this article
